Virginia Vintage Hardwood Flooring
The Anderson family has been providing the best in design and innovative style since 1946. Virginia Vintage Hardwood Flooring is just one of a few brands that is manufactured by Anderson Hardwood Flooring Company. The company is a member for The National Association of Floor Covering Distributors, which was organized to foster trade and commerce for those individuals and corporations having a business, financial or professional interest as wholesale distributors or manufacturers of floor coverings and allied products. As a dedicated member of the community, Virginia Vintage Hardwood Flooring’s parent company, Anderson, is also a member of the Hardwood Plywood and Veneer Association. This organization has a formal mission "to promote and support the long-term growth and prosperity of our industry, our members, and the natural resources upon which we depend." In addition to being a responsible member of the business community, Anderson is also a steward to the environment. As a member of the Hardwood Forestry Fund, Anderson supports hardwood tree planting and management. Their membership also helps fund research projects implemented in cooperation with local, state and federal forestry departments. Virginia Vintage Hardwood Flooring is also associated with an organization for the benefit of consumers. Anderson is a member of the NWFA, whose mission is to be a leading resource of accurate and expert wood flooring information for the consumer and the wood flooring industry.

Virginia Vintage is the original engineered hand-scraped flooring from Anderson. Anderson’s selection ranges from woods like oak, pine and pecan, to more exotic species like bamboo. Many of Anderson’s flooring collections are hand-scraped, which raises the grain to provide more of an antique look. There was even a day when Anderson floors were hand finished. Each board spoke a different story; each plank a unique reflection of its maker.
