Uniclic Laminates Flooring
Based in Belgium, Quick-Step Inc. manufactures the popular Uniclic glueless laminate flooring line with its patented tongue-and-groove locking system. Quick-Step is the inventor of direct pressure laminate and now offers more than 60 flooring designs in planks and tiles. Most of the company’s products come with a full 25-year warranty. Quick-Step has the right floor for every interior with the Uniclic system being one of the most popular items that the company has developed. Meanwhile though, Quick-Step also offers planks and tiles, both wide and small, as well as modern and traditional in style. Quick-Step prides itself on being suitable for every room and everyone. The first stem to purchasing your new Uniclic Laminate flooring is to decide if you want the look of wood, ceramic or stone. Consider the surface finishes and textures, the type of groove between planks and the size of the planks or tiles. Regardless of what you select, Quick-Step imposes quality demands on itself - from raw material to finished product - that exceed the prevailing EN and ISO standards.
Quick-Step floors with the patented Uniclic system offer some of the best consumer warranties in the industry - with a Limited Lifetime warranty against wear, staining and fading and lifetime warranty on the Uniclic system. The base of a Quick-Step floor is a watertight, glued High Density Fiber Board. This board is then covered with a design layer and a transparent overlay against wear and tear. Underneath, a barrier layer stops rising damp and prevents the boards from deforming. The design layer is a photo of wood or tiles that is printed on paper. This paper is submerged in melamine resin. This is covered with a very strong and transparent protective layer. The oak designs have a wood texture that coincides exactly with the wood pattern. The highly refined printing technique means that you can hardly tell the difference between the photo and real wood. There is a Quick-Step laminate floor for every budget; they are easy and fast to install. In addition, they have been tested to pass general commercial foot traffic conditions and still hold up. This means the products are abrasion resistant, impact resistant, stain resistant, resistant to household chemicals and even resistant cigarette burns.
