DaVinci Cork Flooring
Da Vinci Floorcovering & Designs opened in April of 2004 out of our warehouse in Bloomington, Illinois. Since then, the store has grown to one of the largest in the Twin Cities area. In May 2006, the store expanded and was redesigned as a Shaw Design Center. Da Vinci Floorcovering & Designs satisfied a need for a flooring store in Central Illinois that catered to the needs of its customers. Along with superior service, the Da Vinci Floorcovering & Designs staff and management want to offer their customers unique products as well as everyday merchandise seen at typical flooring stores. Mr. Jeff Cotter has assumed the position of new manager and partner as of June 6, 2008. He joins the DaVinci team to bring a new and positive outlook on communication, professionalism and above all, customer service.

Immediately following the installation of DaVinci Cork floors, be gentle when moving furniture back to its intended spot, make sure to install proper felt protectors under ALL furniture, wait before replacing area rugs, avoid using water or any cleaner, and avoid heavy traffic. Thereafter, use the recommended flooring cleaner for spills and general cleanup on floors that have non-waxed polyurethane or Swedish finish. It is also a good rule of thumb to place mats and throw rugs at doorways, exteriors and interiors to help prevent the tracking of grit, dirt and sand. Wipe up food and other spills immediately with a dry or slightly dampened towel (wipe dry). Use a humidifier or dehumidifier in conjunction with a furnace or air conditioning system to maintain relative humidity in the home at 30-50%. Remember, when high-traffic areas begin to look dull, it's time to recoat or restore.
