Dal-tile Tile Flooring
Dal-Tile Corporation is a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries. The company manufactures, distributes and markets high-quality ceramic tile and natural stone products. Currently, Dal-Tile operates eight manufacturing facilities (seven in the U.S. and one in Mexico), five Regional Distribution Centers, and over 250 Sales Service Centers. These sales service centers are located throughout the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico. Dal-Tile products are sold through these sales centers, but also through home centers and independent dealers. Founded in 1947 in Dallas, Texas, Dal-Tile has greatly expanded and now incorporates the manufacture of glazed and unglazed tile, glazed and unglazed ceramic mosaics, glazed porcelain tile, unglazed quarry tile and a variety of stone products. Dal-Tile has annual manufacturing capacity of approximately 500 million square feet, the largest ceramic tile manufacturing capacity of any U.S.-based manufacturer. It is one of the largest tile manufacturers in the world employing over 10,000 associates.

Dal-Tile does not sell directly to the general public. But, its dealers are knowledgeable floor covering experts who can help you define the style of tile or natural stone you are looking for. These dealers have access to product availability and pricing for Dal-Tile products. Dal-Tile Corporation has an environmentally friendly manufacturing process that recycles scrap tile, which has become a necessary raw material in those products for which the recycling is incorporated. Dal-Tile runs a COF test established by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) to provide its customers comparable slip resistance values for each of its floor tiles. The measurements are designed to be one important factor to consider in evaluating slip resistance.
