Armstrong Tile Flooring
Armstrong World Industries, Inc. is a global leader in floors, ceilings and cabinets. In 2007, Armstrong's consolidated net sales totaled approximately $3.5 billion. Armstrong operates 40 plants in 10 countries and has approximately 12,800 employees worldwide, all of which owe gratitude to the headquarters located in PA. Mr. Armstrong was among the first American entrepreneurs to discard the old business practice of "Let the buyer beware" and instead he replaced that by practicing the principle of "Let the buyer have faith." He was a brand-name pioneer, stamping "Armstrong" on each cork as early as 1864.

Armstrong offers the most extensive portfolio of flooring products available. The product portfolio includes resilient sheet and tile, hardwood, laminates, Genuine Linoleum, specialty carpet and sports flooring. Further, in 2003, the Armstrong Ceramic line was launched in the U.S. and Canada and ToughGuard vinyl sheet flooring was introduced by Armstrong in 2000. The latter product is manufactured with a new process that dramatically improves the durability of residential sheet vinyl, and as a result, it continues to gain market share and raise the industry standard for resilient flooring performance. Genuine Linoleum, the original classic resilient floor, now considered a "green" flooring product, is making a comeback in the United States. It appears this is occurring because architects and designers are requiring more environmentally friendly building materials, but won't sacrifice color, vibrancy and design in the process.
